Jim Paoletti serves as PAP’s clinical consultant, providing one-on-one consultations for PAP patients. Jim has more than 30 years of experience with compounded hormone therapies, nutritional health and wellness in clinical practice both in retail pharmacy and as a consultant. “My goal is to help patients obtain and maintain good health by providing effective education and utilization of the great resources at PAP,” he says. “As part of the team at PAP, I am dedicated to using my knowledge to help patients find their individual path to good hormone balance, nutritional health and overall wellness.” Jim previously served as Director of Provider Education for ZRT Laboratory in Beaverton, Oregon – as well as consultant and Education Director for Professional Compounding Centers of America in Houston, Texas. He has also lectured extensively and internationally on all aspects of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) to medical practitioners and consumers. Jim has also published several articles on compounding, hormones and endocrinology over the past 15 years. In addition, he will be publishing a book in 2014 that is focused on instructing practitioners on how to do BHRT. Jim was raised mainly in Ohio and attended The Ohio State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy in 1976. He also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy in Houston, Texas from 1997 – 2004, and was also Preceptor for Pharmacy Student Internship Rotation at PCCA at the same school. He is also a graduate and former faculty member of the Fellowship of Anti-Aging and Functional Medicine. Jim is engaged to be married in September 2014, and is the father of one adult child, Andrea.
